This is what Kenny would rather be riding than his bike.  No, I don't know why his right eye looks like that!





Kenny and his Mom at the Jonas Brothers concert in 2009.  Nick Jonas is a diabetic - although he's better known for being a talented musician!  This all happened because of ADA!

Breaking News!  Kenny's New Pump has arrived!  It is now operational and in use, reducing his injections to zero, except for inserting the needle that stays in for 3 days.  His pump is an Animas Ping.   As you can see, he is very excited.





Kenny speaking at the Tour de Cure Kickoff Party in Brighton.  He talked about his daily routine, which includes 4 insulin shots and about 6 finger pricks, on top of carb-counting and ensuring that he always has his meter with him.





The display on Kenny and Diabetes at the Plymouth Library, which was up for about six weeks.  Thank you Sue Stoney!



Kenny dressed for baseball and at his Blue and Gold banquet when he crossed over to Boy Scouts (from Cub Scouts).  Diabetes does not prevent him from doing the things he wants to do, but it is a lot more than a nuisance!  Thousands of people die from complications from diabetes every year.



The Pyko family joined Team Kenny on the 2010 Tour de Cure and had a great time.  Perhaps you would like to join too?
